Opposition candidate Edmundo González says he has evidence of a landslide victory over incumbent President Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela’s disputed presidential election. However, Maduro has been declared the winner by the regime-loyal electoral commission.

– We have the vote counting documents that show our victory in our hand, says Gonzaléz.

Shortly after the electoral commission said Maduro had won, thousands of people took to the streets of the capital Caracas to protest.
