According to the verdict, it was in May of this year that he made threats on the gaming platform Twitch, where he said he would take a gun from a police officer and harm police officers and their families. He then also called the police via 112 and expressed similar threats of violence.
An effort was launched to find the man and he was arrested the same day in central Eskilstuna.
According to the court, there was reason for uniformed police to feel serious fear for their safety after the threats.
The man has said that he has long felt unfairly treated by the police.
He is convicted of threatening an official and unlawful threats.
