A 25-year-old man was shot dead and two people were injured in a shooting in central Gävle on the night between Saturday and Sunday.
There must be many witnesses to the incident.
– I was lying in bed and about to sleep, then I hear a rattling sound, says “Lisa” to TV4 Nyheterna.
It was at half past four on Sunday morning that the police were called to the scene where a 25-year-old man was killed and two injured in Gävle.
According to those that TV4 Nyheterna has spoken to, there were extra people out in the area on Saturday. Partly because Benjamin Ingrosso played in the Gasklockorna event area, which is located near the crime scene.
But also because a night club located right next to the place had empty bar.
– I was lying in bed and about to sleep, then I hear a rattling sound. Then I thought: But God, what was that, it’s either a shooting or a car, says “Lisa”.
“Then I hear the sirens”
She goes on to say that it then became quiet and then returned to being alive again.
– Then I thought that the pubs have just closed and that people are perhaps on their way home. But then I hear the sirens.
– It is damnable that it has to be like this. It’s terrible, says Anders Fridsjö, Gävlebo.
The police have not yet arrested any suspects, but during the day heard witnesses and carried out checks in the area. The police are also investigating whether there may be a connection to gang crime.
– I cannot confirm or deny whether this is so, but we always keep it in mind early on in the investigation of serious violent crimes that have taken place with firearms, says Mathias Rutegård.
