A Dundas resident is facing charges of dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident after a bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a vehicle on Saturday night in Long Point.

Norfolk OPP, along with Norfolk County paramedics and firefighters, responded to the collision scene on Erie Boulevard at just before 9 p.m.
The cyclist was transported to a local hospital before later being transferred to a trauma center.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, said Norfolk OPP.
In an email to the Reformer early Sunday afternoon, Const. Andrew Gamble said the cyclist is listed in critical condition.
Police later identified the vehicle as a black 2020 Hyundai Elantra sedan, which was later located by police in Hamilton.
A 19-year-old driver was arrested and charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm and failing to stop at an accident resulting in bodily harm, said police.
Norfolk OPP say he was held in custody to await a bail hearing the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe.
Erie Boulevard was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team. The TIME team urges anyone with information about the collision to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
