How was the ranking created? Our ranking is based on the current status of the Naruto Shippuden anime/manga. We compared all the clans and picked out our top 5. When evaluating them, we took into account the individual skills and background stories of the clans. On this basis, we show you the 5 strongest clans in Naruto Shippuden.

5th place: Hyuuga clan
The Hyuuga clan is one of the oldest and most respected clans in Konoha. The Hyuuga are known for their Byakugan, a Kekkei Genkai (inherited ability). It is one of the most powerful eye techniques (Dou-Jutsu) and enables almost complete 360-degree vision.
Shinobi with the Byakugan can also see through massive objects and over great distances, acting as a sort of telescopic vision. The Byakugan also allows them to see the chakra flow and tenketsu (chakra points) in another’s body, giving them a huge advantage in battle.
Thanks to this ability, the Hyuuga can attack with their Gentle Fist technique (a unique Taijutsu) to disrupt or even completely block the chakra flow of their opponents. Thanks to hard training, many members of the clan have excellent chakra control.

4th place: Senju clan
The Senju clan is one of the most powerful and historically significant clans in the world of Naruto. Its origins go back to Asura Otsutsuki, the younger son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki. As descendants of Otsutsuki, the Senju clan was the only clan that could compete with the Uchiha clan in strength at the time of the war. The two clans concluded a peace treaty and jointly founded the village of Konohagakure (Konoha).
The Senju were also known as the 1000 Hands Clan. This clan is known for its enormous experience in Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and Genjutsu, which makes its members incredibly versatile in combat.
Particularly outstanding was Hashirama Senju, known as the strongest shinobi of his generation. He is famous for his Mokuton (Wood Release) technique, a unique ability that allowed him to create and manipulate wood and trees from his chakra. Hashirama could even create large forests and change entire landscapes.

3rd place: Uzumaki clan
The Uzumaki clan was famous for its mastery of Fuinjutsu, or sealing techniques. This ability was so powerful that many villages were very afraid of the Uzumaki. Several villages decided to destroy the Uzumaki clan and thus also its village Uzushiogakure. Numerous members were slaughtered and the survivors went into hiding.
Many members of the clan possess vast amounts of chakra. With their impressive chakra reserves, they can heal injuries quickly and live for a very long time. The Uzumaki are distantly related to the Senju clan. Over the years, the Uzumaki and Senju have maintained a close bond, with members of both clans occasionally marrying, such as Hashirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki.
