A Toronto-area man Sarnia police charged with human trafficking was re-arrested and held in custody for allegedly breaching his bail conditions before making bail again.

This time, however, Glendon Larmond’s release is more rigid, with restrictions including a curfew and GPS tracking. He’s also largely banned from being in Lambton County.
In March, officers began investigating a male from Georgetown, Ont., amid allegations of trafficking, procuring and coercing a female to provide sexual services, Sarnia police said in an April 26 statement. The man was allegedly receiving financial benefit, they said.
Larmond, 42, is charged with human trafficking, receiving a financial or other material benefit, forcible confinement, communicating for the purpose of obtaining sexual services, material benefit from sexual services, procuring and advertising sexual services, police said. He was held for a bail hearing and requested into custody.

After spending nearly a month in jail, Larmond was first granted $4,000 lease on May 17. He was ordered not to contact the complainant or be within 25 meters of her and was banned from possessing weapons. Both Larmond and his surety each pledged $2,000 at the time.
Larmond was back in a Sarnia courtroom last Wednesday on a new charge of allegedly breaching that release order. He was granted lease Friday, again for $4,000 total, but this time to a surety in London and with the stricter rules including a 10 pm to 6 am curfew. He’s only allowed to be in Lambton County to attend court or to meet with his lawyer. He’s due back in court Aug. 14.
