(Finance) – Good news that aims to go beyond the narratives of a neighborhood, a sign of care that starts from the bottom, in the name of collaboration between different generations and institutions: “Io Sono Barriera” is the project promoted by the Regina della Pace Parish and by Sermig, with the support of Amiat Gruppo Iren, which today involved about 400 citizens of the neighborhood and young people of Sermig in a widespread active citizenship activity.

“There are many of us taking care of Barriera, starting with cleaning the streets,” explains parish priest Don Andrea Bisacchi, “a sign of civic education for the many young people who have joined and a sign of hope that involves the good will of the people who are returning to take care of their neighborhood.” The appeal was addressed to residents who will be on the field together with young people who have come from all over Italy to spend a time of service and training at the Arsenale della Pace in Turin.

Amiat, partner of the initiative, provided the cleaning material, in addition to taking care of the disposal of what will be collected during the day. “We are proud to collaborate in this event, which involved many young people, but not only, raising awareness on the importance of respecting the environment and the territory, values that Amiat shares and practices in all its activities – comments Paola Bragantini, President of Amiat Gruppo Iren –.
