Every year, Time Magazine lists one hundred “extraordinary” places around the world to visit.
In 2024, luck has come to Sweden with no less than two list items: Hornsgatan on Södermalm in Stockholm, and the Michelin restaurant Vyn in Simrishamn.
Hornsgatan is highlighted as Scandinavia’s slow fashion district with its many second-hand shops. The magazine highlights the street’s diversity, where you can find everything from branded products to early HM clothing.
The two-star Vyn is run by the Swedish restaurateur Daniel Berlin and is idyllically located by the water south of Simrishamn. According to Time, “an appetite for adventure” is required to reach the site by train from Copenhagen through Scania’s plains with “farming and picturesque fishing villages”
