Fencing is still one of the main vectors of medals in the Olympic Games for France and it should continue once again this year for the 2024 Olympic Games. The fencing events will take place over nine days in an absolutely fabulous setting at the Grand Palais in Paris. Twelve Olympic titles, including six individual ones, will be awarded from Saturday, July 27 to Sunday, August 4.

In Tokyo, France won five medals, including two gold. Its best total since the Athens Games in 2004. Apart from judo (8 podiums), no French delegation has done better in recent Summer Olympics.
