Verstappen and Norris held the fastest pace on the practice

On Friday, the first and second free practices of the Belgian GP took place.

Red Bull Max Verstappen and McLaren Lando Norris shared the victories in the first and second free practice sessions of the Belgian GP of the Formula Ones on Friday.

Verstappen left the gassed McLaren in second place in the first practice session Oscar Piastria more than half a second. Williams was third Alexander Albon.

In the second period, the difference between Norris and Piastr, who fell to second place, was a good two tenths of a second. Third was three-time world champion Verstappen.

Sauber’s Valtteri Bottas found his place below the middle of the results list in both practice sessions after being 13th and 14th.

Verstappen, the leader of the World Series, who has driven three previous gp races without a win, will receive a ten grid penalty in the race due to the change of the engine unit.
