Nicole and Jazmine Murphy were working with food service at the festival “Piteå dansar och ler” when they witnessed how the fire broke out in the food stand opposite.
– We heard gas blowing and about a minute later everything burst into flames, says Nicole Murphy.
She describes how the staff in the stall where there was a fire escaped from the blazing fire, but that one person got stuck and had to overturn the table before he got free.
– They had to spray water on him, says Nicole.
Nicole and Jasmine’s manager acted quickly and ran over with a foam extinguisher and managed to extinguish the fire.
