The municipal council of Eemnes took the decision in principle to build the mega solar field at the beginning of July. The offer to the province is part of a broader plan in which Amersfoort, Baarn, Bunschoten, Leusden, Soest and Woudenberg are also participating. The further implementation will be worked out in the coming years, including consultation procedures, landscape design, the choice of developers and the way in which the local government will participate for 50 percent in the various projects.
