Shortly after midnight, the police find a lifeless girl in the industrial area by the old railway station in Landskrona. Life-saving measures are started, but an hour later the girl is pronounced dead in hospital.
That same night, the police begin an investigation into suspected murder.
There is a delay in identifying the dead girl and the police initially give her age as 25-35.
According to the police, she has been subjected to “gross violence” and refers to the picture of the damage to assess it as murder.
During Tuesday afternoon, information emerged that a young person is suspected of murder and kidnapping.
The girl’s representative confirms to TT that it is a person under the age of 15. Documents from the district court also show that it is a girl. Her young age means that she is not arrested but instead transferred to social authorities.

In the afternoon, the dead person is identified as a girl of junior high school age. The prosecutor confirms that the victim and the suspect girl are familiar with each other.
Thursday, July 25
In the morning it appears that another young person has been arrested. It concerns a 15-year-old girl who is arrested. All three involved know each other and, according to the prosecutor, “certain consents have been made and information has been provided about the background to the act”.
The police confirm that during the searches of the crime scene they have found two knives, which are being sent for investigation.
Diving is being done in the port of Landskrona in connection with the murder, but the prosecutor does not want to say whether any findings were made.
Friday, July 26
The 15-year-old girl is detained for murder and kidnapping.
It appears that another person is suspected of involvement. It is about a person who is suspected of grossly protecting a criminal.
A total of three people are now criminal suspects in the case.
