More than 400 foreign rescuers are arriving to help Canada, which has been hit by fierce wildfires, tells the country’s prime minister Justin Trudeau.
According to Trudeau, rescuers arrive from Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and South Africa. They are on their way to support local rescuers.
Wildfires reached Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies, popular with tourists, on Monday, when the city of Jasper was also ordered to evacuate.
At least 25,000 people have been evacuated from the wildfire raging in the park.
