The plan will serve as a road map to the future and outline the healthcare system’s vision, mission, values, strategic goals and outcomes for the years 2025 to 2030.

“Incorporating the voices of our community members – patients, families, employees, professional staff, learners, volunteers, and partners – is a crucial part of this process,” the healthcare system officials said in a statement. “By doing so, we aim to ensure that the plan meets the needs of our patients and the community effectively.”

Residents and others interested in providing input can do so by completing the Vision 2030 survey that includes 20 questions. The survey opened on July 2 and closed on Aug. 12.

Plans call for input from the public consultation process to be analyzed in September and October. A first draft of the strategic plan will also be developed with a final plan will be up for approval in January 2025.

The new strategic plan will be launched in April 2025.

The process is being overseen by a steering committee that has broad representation from the healthcare system including Bonnie Camm, the system’s president and CEO, David Diegel, the chair, and Kim Laush, vice-chair of the board of directors.
