KuPS bowed out to their Norwegian guests in the Conference League | Sports in a nutshell

Kuopio Palloseura succumbed to a 0–1 home defeat against Tromsö from Norway in their opening match of the second qualifying round of the Football Conference League. The goal of the Norwegian visitors was scored by a forward in the 54th minute Lasse Nordås.

In the opening round of the qualifiers, KuPS, which is second in the domestic league, beat Luxembourg’s UNA Strassen 5–0 on aggregate. Tromsö finished third in the Norwegian league last season, but is currently only 12th in the league.

The match between Ilves and Austria Wien is 0-0 after the first half. The second parts of the match pairs will be played in a week.
