Twitch streamer auctions gaming time with Pokimane and Valkyrae

Streamers Imane “Pokimane” Anys and Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter are among the biggest in their class on Twitch. As part of a fundraiser, someone asked for a total of over $60,000 to be able to spend time with them, among others.

What kind of fundraiser is this? Twitch streamer Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun launched a fundraiser again this year to support the Immune Deficiency Foundation. As part of this, bids could be placed on various auctions. One of the auctioned items was a shared gaming experience with Pokimane, Valkyrae, Ironmouse and the host CDawgVA himself.

The auctions were open until Friday, July 19, 2024. At first, it looked as if fans were asking for half a million US dollars to be able to play with Pokimane. However, these offers turned out to be fake and VTuber Claudia Moneta was able to claim a total of three gaming sessions for herself.

“$68,200 goes to charity”

What exactly did Claudia Moneta win? The VTuber needed a whopping $68,200 to win her dream of gaming sessions with big Twitch stars. She won a gaming session with Pokimane, a hangout/gaming session with Ironmouse and CDawgVA, and a collaboration with Valkyrae.

Pokimane and Valkyrae are among Twitch’s biggest streamers, with millions of followers. Ironmouse and CDawgVA also have a community of several million people. All four are among the biggest personalities on the internet, which will benefit the reach of the fundraiser.

She paid $30,700 to play with Pokimane, $23,500 for Ironmouse and CDawgVA, and $14,000 for Valkyrae. In a post on X, the VTuber showed her final bids to win the three prizes and wrote: “$68,200 goes to charity.” The $30,700 that Claudia Moneta paid for Pokimane’s time was the highest bid in the fundraiser.

Numerous auctions for a good cause

What else was auctioned? Other items were also part of the auctions. Twitch streamer Ludwig won an “Elden Ring” poster signed by Miyazaki for $21,000. YouTuber JaidenAnimations auctioned off her diamond play button and got rid of it for $20,200.

How much did the fundraiser achieve? Additionally, Connor held a live event that was broadcast on his Twitch channel. Unfortunately, the goal of $1.5 million was not reached. However, a total of $528,131 was raised.

Twitch streamer CDawgVA is known for his numerous fundraising campaigns. He repeatedly proves that he uses his large online reach for good causes. This was not the first time that he supported a foundation against an autoimmune disease.
