Whether a medal is in the cards for Julie Beurskens is the question. The Amersfoort native, who competes in the class up to 57 kilos, was added to the Olympic selection at the last minute. Beurskens won bronze at the European Junior Championships last year, this year her breakthrough followed at the seniors. At the Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan, she was fifth in February, three weeks later in the Austrian Linz she reached the final.
