HandOfBlood hosts a huge show to kick off the Baller League season

The well-known German Twitch streamer Maximilian Knabe alias HandOfBlood wanted to “let the place rock” at the opening of the new Baller League season. The secret star of the European Championship helped him to stage a huge show for all viewers.

Anyone who was able to follow one of the numerous live streams on the first match day of the Baller League witnessed an impressive show.

In his role as President Knabe, HandOfBlood ushered in the new season with plenty of spectacle. The streamer, who is called Hänno by his fans, had a popular Mallorca band and the musical newcomer of the European Championship in tow.

First, party singer “Malleanja” really got the Eintracht fans going at the official public viewing. But Hänno provided the big surprise of the evening just before the first game of the season, when he ran onto the pitch with the team and the fans to a very special musical accompaniment.

EM star first plays the anthem, then makes the president dance

Which EM star did HandOfBlood have with him? For the first performance of the new season, Hänno had organized none other than Andre Schnura, who became a meme on the internet with his saxophone during the European Championships in Germany. The saxophonist got thousands of people in the mood for the games during the European Championships with famous songs from the fan scene.

How did the show go? At the beginning, Schnura ran onto the pitch in front of the president and the rest of the Eintracht supporters and played the Spandau anthem. Behind him, President Knabe led his team and the fans who had travelled with them onto the pitch with a serious and reverent expression.

After the saxophonist and his entourage had arrived in the middle of the square, the Spandau band’s performance really began, as you can see in the following clip:

After the quiet anthem had ended, Schnura warmed up Eintracht and all the spectators in Cologne with typical football fan songs. In the video, for example, you can hear the popular “Freed From Desire” by the band “Gala”, which was once rewritten by Scottish fans as “Will Grigg’s on Fire” (in reference to the Scottish national player Will Grigg).

At this point, Eintracht, its players and the fans who had travelled with them were visibly “on fire”. In no time at all, the pitch was transformed into a dance floor full of jumping fans with waving flags and scarves.

And how did President Knabe react to the show? Not even HandOfBlood could pull off the serious role of the president with any professionalism. He allowed himself to be carried away by a dance or two and jumped along with the other fans to the sounds of the saxophone.

The spectacular performance ended with another football classic. The summer hit “Samba de Janeiro” was sung again briefly. The show by Eintracht and its European Championship star Andre Schnura ended to the applause of the fans.

With this, HandOfBlood has already provided a first big highlight at the beginning of the new season.

And in the actual game against Beton Berlin, it looked like a clear victory for a long time. But Eintracht squandered a 4:0 lead and had to settle for a 4:4 draw against Kontra K and Felix Lobrecht’s team. Hänno really blossomed as President Knabe last season: HandOfBlood once again slipped into his best role and thrilled fans: “Played so well, it’s almost scary”
