The Östra Götaland rescue service was called to the scene on Wednesday morning.
It is a bird watcher who is said to have found the man who, according to the alarm, should have been stuck in the mud since lunchtime yesterday.

The man is said to be in good spirits despite the circumstances. When SVT Nyheter Öst talks to Daniel Asp, the officer on duty, he says that the emergency services are currently approaching the man and an ambulance is on the scene.
