An apartment building on Hisingen in Gothenburg was exposed to an explosion on Tuesday evening.
– We received an alarm about explosions at 23.03 and it turned out to be something that detonated at a gate to an apartment building, says Per Gottschalk, officer on duty at police region West.
No injuries have been reported and by 00.30 no one had been arrested for the crime.
– We do not know exactly what damage the detonation has caused, but initially there is no major extensive damage. We have started an investigation regarding public destruction, says Per Gottschalk.
During the night, a technical examination is carried out.
– The area must be cordoned off and we work together with the bomb protection and the rescue service, says Per Gottschalk.
