Former team manager of Ferrari’s F1 team Mattia Binotto has been washed into the Sauber team driving in formula one. The Swiss’s job description in the team is to be both operational and technical leader.
The Swiss team is slowly turning into Audi. The team’s drivers this season are: Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.
Binotto replaces Andreas Seidlin mixed Oliver Hoffman’s in their duties. Before joining Sauber, Seidl was McLaren’s team manager.
Binotto was Ferrari’s team manager in 2019–2022. He also worked in the Italian team as a technical director, among other things.
