Simest 6 million euro operation for the entry into the

(Finance) – With an overall intervention of 6 million eurosSIMEST, a CDP Group company for the internationalisation of businesses, has provided SAPAa leading Campania company in sustainable plastic components for the mobility sector, the additional financial resources to support the growth of the Dutch company Promens Zevenaar BV. The company has been active since 1948 and is specialized in the development and production of components thermoplastics And coverings interiors for the Truck sector, intended for customers such as Volvo Truck, Scania, Daimler and MAN.

The operation will favor the Consolidation of the Group’s position in the Northern European market in light of the development strategy adopted in favour of sector growth and diversification of the customer base and product portfolio, with a significant strengthening in the “Truck” sector.

Thereinvestment is part of the growth path already started by the collaboration between SIMEST and SAPA: in fact, the operation that saw SIMEST participate with an investment of 4 million euros in the strengthening of the Sosnowiec plant in Poland, while in 2023, with an investment of 6 million euros, the CDP Group company provided the resources necessary for SAPA’s entry into the Iberian Peninsula.

The operation was also supported by the Venture Capital Funda tool that SIMEST manages in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

In line with the objectives defined in the Strategic Plan 2023-2025 “ImPatto d’Impresa” in terms of impact on the territory and ESG, SIMEST has shared with the SAPA Group the strategic value of the commitment towards a path oriented towards sustainability. ESG performance indicators have therefore been defined in terms of responsible management of energy consumption and the supply chain, upon achievement of which the recognition of advantageous conditions is expected.
