One person has been taken to hospital after a car drove into a bus shelter at high speed.
The person was waiting for the bus at Gustav Adolfs torg in central Malmö when, for an unknown reason, the car drove straight into the bus shelter.
It is unknown how seriously injured the person is.
– We received the alarm at 10:52 p.m. and when we arrived at the scene, two people had fled the scene, but they were arrested relatively soon after, says Henrik Hagström, officer on duty at the police.
One of the arrested was also taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
– As it stands now, it is about gross negligence in traffic, causing bodily harm, drugged driving and contagion, says Henrik Hagström.
