The Houthi rebels operating in Yemen say that during the night they launched several ballistic missiles towards the Israeli city of Eilat. The attack was a response to Israel’s attack on Yemen on Saturday.
Israel says the country’s air defense repelled one surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen on Sunday.
According to the news agency AFP, a high-ranking US diplomat has stated that the negotiations to end the nine-month war in Gaza are nearing their end. Nevertheless, Israel has continued to target Iranian-armed groups in Gaza, Yemen and Lebanon.
