(Telestock) – Regularization for minor building irregularities, but also for “essential variations” with the overcoming of double conformity and reduced sanctions; green light for micro apartments; simplified procedures for the change of intended use, also for ground floor and basement rooms. These are some of the main measures introduced by the Chamber to the so-called ‘save-home’ decree law that obtained the green light in the Chamber with 155 votes in favor, 79 against and 9 abstentions, on which the government had received the confidence. Now the measure, which must be converted into law by July 28, passes to the sprint examination of the Senate.
Among other innovations: the possibility of recovering attics even if the minimum distances between buildings are not respected; the increase in “tolerability” for additional surfaces that are built compared to the project; the extension of up to 240 days for the demolition of an illegal building if the resident is a vulnerable citizen.
Satisfaction expressed by the Minister of Infrastructure Salvini, present in the Chamber for the final vote on the decree that he gave his people an appointment in the courtyard of the Montecitorio building to ‘immortalize’ the moment. And so, immediately after the vote, the minister and the Lega deputies present settled on the steps for the photo. After the shots, the applause began.
With the approval of the Salva Casa decree, today in the Chamber, “we have made life easier for millions of Italian families, simplifying the procedures for small discrepancies that make the sale and regularization of properties impossible and thus giving a contribution to the fight against land consumption”, declared in a note the Undersecretary of State Alessandro Morelli who followed the process of converting the measure in Parliament. “Finally, bureaucracy is cut and help is given to mayors. Now the word goes to the Senate which will have to approve the law by July. Once again the Government gives concrete answers to citizens’ problems”concludes Morelli.
