“Our beloved Eva Swartz Grimaldi, 68 years old, has peacefully fallen asleep at home surrounded by her loved ones after a long illness. Eva was extremely loved and was active right up to the end and showed with what primal energy she lived life”, reads part of the family’s statement.

Top manager Eva Swartz dead
Swartz Grimaldi became TV4’s head of entertainment and drama in 1998, after having been CEO of the production company Meter Film and Television. A few years later, she was appointed the channel’s program director.
In 2005, she left the television industry and became CEO of the book publisher Natur och Kultur.
Swartz Grimaldi has also served as chairman and member of a number of boards such as Apotea, Norstedts, SBB, Storytel, the Swedish Film Institute, SVT, Nobel Media and Stockholm University.
In 2020, she was awarded the King’s medal in gold of the twelfth size for outstanding contributions to Swedish cultural and social life.
