The TV series cancelled by Paramount that has sweet words

Game over for the Halo TV series which has just been cancelled by Paramount. Sad news which was relayed by Variety which therefore confirms that there will be no third season for the Master Chief. A hard blow for fans who were still watching the show, especially since the end of Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger. Paramount still wanted to address a few kind words to the creators of the series, wishing them the best for the future:

Paramount+ confirms that Halo will not have a third season on our service. We are incredibly proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, as well as showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the cast led by Pablo Schreiber as The Major, and the fantastic technical team for their hard work. We wish them all the best in their careers.

While it’s sad to see a franchise like Halo not be supported by the public, it must also be said that the first season took so many liberties that it left many fans on the side of the road. Things were readjusted for Season 2, but it seems that this was not enough to make Paramount want to continue putting money into the project. That said, all is not lost because it is indicated in the Variety article that Xbox, the studio 343 Industries and Amblin Television are looking for new partners to allow the Spartan to be able to finish his television adventure. That’s all the bad we wish him.
