One of the biggest Netflix events of recent years started yesterday. We’re talking about the 6th season of Cobra Kai, which will officially bring the Karate Kid spin-off to an end. The streaming service has come up with a special release for the dojo finale: The last Cobra Kai chapter comes in three parts.
You can stream the first part since Wednesday. It consists of a total of five episodes and brings back the main characters Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) as well as the villain Kreese (Martin Kove). But when does the story continue? Netflix has just released a new Start date for part 2 revealed.
Two weeks earlier than planned: New start date for Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2 on Netflix
According to the original plan, the second part of the 6th season was not supposed to premiere until November 28, 2024. So that fans don’t have to wait that long, the start was brought forward two weeks, so that the next five episodes will be broadcast on 15 November 2024 go online, as industry magazine Deadline reports.
But Netflix still hasn’t revealed one thing.

When will the third part of the 6th season of Cobra Kai arrive on Netflix? The streamer is still keeping quiet and does not want to make any concrete announcements. The only thing we know for sure is that Cobra Kai will not end this year. Part 6 of the mega finale will not be released until 2026 on Netflix. The exact date is still open.
After the Netflix finale: Is Cobra Kai season 6 really the end of the Karate Kid universe?
The end of Cobra Kai on Netflix does not mean that we will never return to the world of Karate Kid. On the contrary: the next movie is already in production. Ralph Macchio returns as Daniel LaRusso, while we can also look forward to a reunion with Jackie Chan’s Mr. Han from the 2010 Karate Kid film. The currently planned cinema release is May 29, 2025.
