Technical glitches at global cyber security firm Crowdstrike are causing problems around the world.
Among other things, the airline Ryanair has disruptions and there are also alarms that American healthcare systems are down.
A problem with the cyber security company Crowdstrike has created technology confusion worldwide, writes BNO News X.
The Swedish airline SAS also has problems, among other things with searching for trips on their website.
Even Ryanair has written on its website that there are “potential disruptions due to a global system outage from a third party”.
According to the airline, the disruption affects all airlines operating over the network.
United, Delta and American Airlines are issuing global ground stops on all flights, according to ABC News.
Flights that are in the air will stay in the air, but flights on the ground will not take off.
There are also alarms that the systems at hospitals in New York and California are down. There must also be problems with 911, the country’s emergency number.
Travel apps are down
Kalmar länstrafik’s website has been down during the morning, but that problem is now solved, according to Kim Örnfjäder, press contact at Region Kalmar. On the other hand, the region’s travel planner service, which the company Forsler and Stjerna delivers, is lacking.
