Kuopio Palloseura defeated their opponents from Luxembourg at home with goals 5–0.

Kuopio Palloseura’s 18-year-old top promise Otto Ruoppi finished with two goals as KuPS advanced to the second qualifying round of the Conference League after defeating Luxembourg’s Una Strassen 5-0 on aggregate.

The team from Kuopio, who played a 0-0 draw in Luxembourg last week, went to the second leg played on their home field on Thursday hungry.

VPS, which is sixth in the Veikkausliiga, started its own struggle in the Conference League qualifiers.

VPS lost to Lithuanian Zalgiris 1–0. Vaasa’s road in the Conference League ended and Zalgiris continues to the second round.
