A new game on Steam is set in the Austrian Alps. There you can enjoy a mix of relaxation and battles in various dungeons in a holiday resort. The game was launched today and received pretty good reviews straight away.
What game is this about? Dungeons of Hinterberg is a new game from the developer studio Microbird Games. Today, July 18, 2024, the game was launched on Steam and Xbox. On Steam you can get Dungeons of Hinterberg 10% off until August 1. The game is also included in the Game Pass.
In a trailer you can take a look at the action that awaits you in the idyllic Alpine region of Hinterberg:
What awaits you? You slip into the role of Luisa, who needs a break after her burnout and therefore goes to the idyllic holiday resort of Hinterberg. There you can expect not only relaxing activities such as going to the cinema, a day at the spa or visiting a restaurant.
In Hinterberg, you can also expect various dungeons in which you can fight armed with a sword and magic. In the trailer, you can also get a glimpse of the fast-paced battles. There will also be a few areas through which you can glide on a snowboard, use zip lines or clear new paths with magic.
Good reviews on the first day

What do the ratings look like? GamePro wasn’t the only one to give Dungeons of Hinterberg a pretty strong rating. A post on Reddit summarizes the reviews from various sites. At first glance, it’s clear that most sites give a rating just as strong as GamePro.
PCGamer, for example, gives 84% positive ratings. Overall, most ratings are between 7 and 9 out of 10 possible points – or roughly over 80%. The player reviews on Steam have all been positive so far, but there are not enough for a rating yet.
