Donald Trump was shot at during his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. Trump was wounded in the right ear, while one person attending the rally died and two others were injured. The perpetrator of the attack, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed at the scene by the Secret Service.
