A 33-year-old woman from Veenendaal and a 27-year-old man from Amerongen were sentenced yesterday to two years in prison, three months of which were conditional, for extorting the woman’s former employer. After the employer went bankrupt, she was still owed money and, according to the Public Prosecution Service, she tried to get it in this way.
