(Finance) – It has been renamed “Flying” the third A350-900 entered the Iberia fleet since the beginning of this year. There Spanish airline has also acquired three A320neos, bringing the total of these aircraft to 11. This number will rise to 14 by 2022 and to 20 by 2023.
The expansion already started will support the growth of the summer commercial offer, expected to be 85% compared to 2019. By 2024, the Iberia fleet will equip itself with eight A350s, while delivery of the first of eight A321XLRs is scheduled for next year.
The current state, the fleet of the Iberia group consists of 147 aircraft77 of which from Iberia (A350, A330 and A320), 20 from Iberia Express, which operates with only A320s, and 45 from Iberia Regional Air Nostrum (split between CRJ1000, CRJ900, CRJ200 and ATR72).
