2024 Olympics: “Two pimples on the ass and everything will be fine”, Philippe Lucas lets loose on the quality of the Seine

2024 Olympics Two pimples on the ass and everything will

Always straightforward, Philippe Lucas reassured all those concerned about the quality of the water in the Seine.

After the dive of Amélie Oudea-Castera and the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo this Wednesday, July 17, the quality of the Seine seems to be now perfect for the next events of the 2024 Olympic Games with the first triathlon events. According to the readings of the last few weeks, the quality is good and allows swimming. Even the specialized NGO Surfrider Foundation validates this information through other independent analyses.

During a press briefing this Wednesday, Laure Manaudou’s former coach reassured everyone with his always legendary frankness. It makes me laugh because every four years it’s the same problem, laughed the charismatic coach with sunglasses. In Rio, Tokyo and Paris, we always talk about the quality of the water. I tell you, they go swimming, everything will be fine. They will have two spots on their ass and that’s it. Sometimes, they go shopping in things… Everything is done to make it okay (…) It’s like when I go to eat at your place: the plate is dirty, I eat anyway and I don’t get sick. Everything is done to make it right. When the tests weren’t good, everyone talked about it. When, on the other hand, the last ones were good, no one said anything. The Olympics are always like that.”
