The goalkeeper of Tampere Ilves, who play in the Ice Hockey SM League Jakub Malek will play for the club in the 2024–2025 season.
The Czech goalkeeper recently signed an NHL contract with the New Jersey Devils, but the club is loaning Malek to Ilves. He may still be in Devils training camp next fall.
22-year-old Malek has played 49 regular season games and six playoff games in Ilves for two seasons.
