Sport: parity is not equality

Sport parity is not equality

We are 10 days away from the Paris Olympics. And for the first time in the history of the Olympic Games, there will be as many female competitors as male competitors. The Olympic festival will welcome as many male athletes as female athletes. 5,250 on one side and 5,250 on the other. A parity that is certainly not necessarily synonymous with equality between the sexes. Salary conditions. Media treatment. Sexist comments. Men and women in sport are not treated the same. How can we resolve a situation where years of male domination in sport are mixed together?
