Two routes were always run in Utrecht, one that started in Overvecht on the Vechtzoom and the other on the Koningsweg, where most children appeared at the start line. From there it quickly went out of the city, into nature, because the organization prefers not to send the children into the crowds. The trips from Overvecht will continue this year for the time being, but that is not entirely certain either. There, too, they are faced with a shortage of traffic controllers.
