World celebrities, politicians and artists have flocked to India where the son of Asia’s richest man has married.
6.3 billion kroner landed the cost of the “wedding of the year” – which drew harsh criticism in the home country.

In March, the celebration of the marriage between the billionaire’s son Anant Ambani, 29, and his fiancee Radhika Merchant, 29, began. Now four months later, they have married in Mumbai, India.
The wedding bill is reported to have landed at 6.3 billion kroner and it has been a star-studded guest list to say the least.
In the four months, among others, Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna, Bill Gates, Justin Bieber, Tony Blair and Kim Kardashian have visited on various occasions.

The bride and groom, along with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have received harsh criticism for the excessive luxury in their home country.
They believe that it is an insult to Indians who live in poverty.
