Poland plans to spend 5 percent of GDP on defense

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski told Bloomberg Television on Friday that the country plans to spend five percent of its gross domestic product on defense in 2025.

– Including the United States, we are relatively number one in NATO, Sikorski said.

General of the Chief of Staff of the Polish Army Wieslaw Kukula told the press on Wednesday that Poland must prepare its soldiers for a full-scale conflict.
