At 1 p.m., the emergency services and ambulance received an alert about a suspected serious traffic accident on Landsväg 26/Nissanstigen.
A child on a bicycle is said to have been hit by a motor home.
“The boy, who is reportedly 5 years old, is seriously injured and has been taken to hospital by ambulance,” the police write on their website.
The road is completely closed and the police have impounded the motor home.
The police are currently working on documenting the course of events, interviewing witnesses and photographing wheel tracks and vehicles.
