The hospital issued a news release Thursday afternoon saying the phone systems were up and running.

“We want to extend our gratitude to our patients, their families, and our entire community for their patience and understanding during this challenging time,” the release said. “We would also like to thank our dedicated IT team, along with Bell, for their efforts in restoring our phone services.

“During our Code Grey, patient care remained our top priority. Our staff, physicians, and volunteers continued to provide exceptional care under challenging circumstances.”

During Code Grey, the hospital’s emergency department remained open and scheduled patient appointments were kept.
