What did Nexos say? Paul Tassi, a big fan of Destiny 2 and editor of the US news site “Forbes”, was contacted by Nexon regarding the plagiarism allegations (source: x.com). The developers make it clear that they were inspired by Destiny 2. However, the team behind The First Descendant admires Bungie’s loot shooter and respects their work.

Destiny 2, a world-renowned looter shooter game, is also personally admired and respected by the team and served as an inspiration during the development process. We took the concerns raised seriously and decided to make adjustments to ensure that the potentially similar-looking images clearly reflect the unique identity of our game. We will continue to improve the game for the fans of the looter shooter genre.
