What event is it about? Every year, Pokémon GO hosts a global GO Fest. This lasts for an entire weekend and has lots of spawns and bonuses for you. This makes it one of the highlights of the game.
After the trainers were able to take part in the live events in Sendai, Madrid and New York this year, the global GO Fest 2024 is finally taking place this weekend. Trainers from all over the world can take part regardless of location.
When does GO Fest start? This year’s GO Fest will take place on July 13 and 14, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.

The global GO Fest starts tomorrow
The GO Fest is already in the starting blocks and will once again have plenty of highlights in store for you. To make sure you don’t miss anything, we will be ticking here for you tomorrow, July 13, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. and will keep an eye on the game for you on both event days. We will provide you with lots of tips, important information about the habitats, spawns, bonuses, research and raids as well as news about the GO Fest.
Before the starting signal is given, you should use the remaining hours to prepare for the event. To this end, we have put together 6 tips that you should do in the game before GO Fest.
The most important information about GO Fest 2024 at a glance
What you can expect at GO Fest 2024: GO Fest 2024 will again span two event days with a total of 16 hours. You probably won’t get bored, because Ninatic has prepared plenty of highlights for you.
You can look forward to a total of four habitats, more than 70 different Pokémon from raids, research, eggs and the wild, as well as lots of bonuses. There will also be lots of shinies and one or two regional Pokémon to be found on both days.
A particular highlight will be Necrozma, which you can find in raids worldwide for the first time and which can change its form with the help of fusion. In addition, there will also be hourly global challenges for ticket holders, with which you can earn additional bonuses. So there will be something for everyone on both days.
Do all Pokémon spawn at the same time? No, as with previous events of this kind, GO Fest 2024 will again have four habitats into which the spawns will be divided on the first day of the event:
These habitats change every hour. So on Saturday you have the opportunity to play each habitat for a total of 2 hours. On Sunday you then have another chance to encounter all the monsters. On this day, however, they spawn randomly throughout the day.
Do you need a ticket to play? GO Fest can be played with or without a ticket. Most of the content will be accessible to all trainers. However, anyone who wants to benefit from special smoke spawns, exclusive bonuses such as an increased shiny chance, special 7km eggs or exchange and raid bonuses will need a ticket.
You will also receive special research on both days, which will, among other things, give you an encounter with the mysterious Pokémon Marshadow.
Where do you get the ticket? You can purchase the ticket for around 18 euros in your in-game shop.
