All of Skåne, parts of Halland, Blekinge and all of Småland are covered by the warning that was sent out on Thursday. Gotland and eastern Götaland are also affected by the yellow warning for heavy rain. The rain is expected to move in there during the day on Saturday.
According to the meteorologists, it is difficult to assess which areas are likely to suffer the worst and where the risk of floods, like those that affected mainly the Jönköping region this week, is greatest. But the assessment is that there may be up to 30-50 millimeters of rain in a short time, on Gotland perhaps up to 60 millimeters.
There may be strong winds in connection with the storm and in the Baltic Sea there may be gale force.
On Sunday, the rain is expected to ease off at the same time as it moves up over the country.
