GRAMMY AWARDS. The traditional Grammy Awards ceremony took place on the night of Sunday to Monday April 4, in Las Vegas.

Nominated in eleven categories, the still shy jazzman left with five trophies, including the prestigious Album of the Year at the 2022 Grammy Awards. The ceremony, the musical equivalent of the Oscars, was held on Sunday night to Monday April 4 in Las Vegas, after being twice postponed for health reasons related to Covid-19.
Another big winner of the evening, the young artist Olivia Rodrigo, who leaves with three Grammy’s: Revelation of the year, Vocal pop album and Solo pop performance for drivers license. Silk Sonic, the retro project carried by Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, for its part won the Grammy Award for recording of the year on Sunday evening. Cousins Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar won Best Rap Performance for their song Family Ties.
The evening was also marked by the appearance of the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky. In video, he asked the assembly of the Grammy Awards for support for his country. “War. What is the exact opposite of music? The silence of ruined cities and slain people. Fill that silence with your music,” he said, before a performance by John Legend, joined on stage by Ukrainian artists, Mika Newton and Lyuba Yakimchuk.
