Nikkei surpasses 42000 point threshold all Asian stock markets up

(Finance) – The Japanese Nikkei 225 has closed above the 42,000 point threshold for the first timeamid a positive session on Asian stock markets, after US megacaps once again led Wall Street on optimism about Federal Reserve rate cuts.

Even in Asia, the ones that stand out are the technology stockswith chipmakers rising in tandem with TSMCafter the Taiwanese giant reported much stronger-than-expected revenue in the second quarter.

On the macroeconomic front, the Core orders for Japanese machinery unexpectedly fell for the second consecutive month on a monthly basis. However, on a year-over-year basis, they rose more than expected.

Tokyo ends the session with a gain on Nikkei 225 of 0.94%, continuing the bullish trend highlighted by four consecutive gains, triggered last Monday; along the same lines, a leap of Shenzhenwhich continues the day at 1.88%, and growth of Shanghaiwhich marks a +0.96%.

Effervescent Hong Kong (+1.78%); on the same trend, in fractional progress Seoul (+0.6%). At the same levels as yesterday Mumbai (-0.32%); good performance by Sydney (+0.91%).

Session substantially unchanged for theEuro against Japanese currencywhich is trading at a moderate +0.15%. The session was substantially unchanged for theEuro against the Chinese currencywhich trades on the values โ€‹โ€‹of the day before. The day of July 10th looks flat for theEuro vs Hong Kong Dollarwhich shows a meager +0.06%.

The performance of theJapanese 10-year bond trades 1.09%, while the yield for the Chinese 10-year government bond is equal to 2.28%.
