The 11th stage was cycled on the cycling Tou de France tour. The Danish superstar pedaled to victory on the 211-kilometer long stage Jonas Vingegaardwho defeated another big name in the sport, Slovenia, in a hard-fought battle by Tadej Pogacar.
Belgium, who cycled third Remco Evenepoel left the duo by 25 seconds.
Vingegaard has won the previous two Tour de France. Before that, two consecutive titles in France were celebrated by Pogacar.
The Slovenian celebrated his victory in the Giro d’Italia in the spring. The Danes, on the other hand, fell in a competition event in the spring and was badly injured. Participation in the Tour of France was uncertain for a long time.
Pogacar leads this year’s Tour by one minute and six seconds ahead of Evenepoel. Vingegaard is third, eight seconds behind Evenepoel.
