Spain made it to the European Championship final for the first time since 2012. In Tuesday’s semi-final, France fell 2–1.

Spain’s only 16-year-old was chosen as the first star of the match Lamine Yamalwho was responsible for his team’s equalizing goal in the 21st minute of the game.

Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente described Yamal’s paint as a “touch of genius”. (See the goal in the video below).

With the goal, he became quite the youngest scorer during the European Championships.

Yamali’s Goal Account opened in the semi-final, but he had already served three passes that led to a goal before the semi-final.

Yamali’s family was watching the match played in Munich. A video is circulating on social media where Yamali’s family is emotional after the equalizer.

Yamal’s father Mounir Nasraoui showed his pride for his son on his own Instagram account.

– As a father and a person, I thank you my son Lamine Yamal.

After the match, Nasraoui was able to celebrate Spain’s victory with his son in the stadium.

– How beautiful life is, Nasraoui wrote in the middle of the celebration.

Yamali’s young age is well told by the fact that his father is only 35 years old and younger than the teammate who played on the same side as Yamali in the semi-final Jesus Navas38.

Father Nasraoui even shared a photo manipulation of the Argentinian star About Lionel Messi and his son. The picture was an updated version of the real picture from 2008, where 20-year-old Messi is holding one-year-old Yamal. (Instagram embed below).

Before the semi-final, the French midfielder Adrien Rabiot warned Yamalia.

– Yamal handles pressure well, and he is a quality player. If Yamal wants to play in the finals, he will have to do more things than he has done so far.

The 16-year-old had responded to Rabiot’s comment on his own Instagram account.

– Move in silence, speak only when it’s time to say checkmate, Yamali’s picture read.

In the semi-final, Yamal answered even more clearly on the field and then sent a message to the cameras after the final whistle as he repeatedly said “talk now”.

Yamali was asked after the match if he meant what he said to Rabiot, but he refused to say.

– The person I’m talking about knows that I mean him, Yamal said.

Yamal has a chance to become European champion on Sunday, a day after his 17th birthday. Spain will face either England or Holland in the final.
